One of the other things that the other princesses seem to have that I need to work on is self-confidence.
My prince says I'm beautiful, and personality-wise I'm FABULOUS.
But there are days when I look in the mirror and hate what I see.
My weight, obviously, which I'm currently working on, but also little things...my skin, my hair, my feet...
Some of the other princesses did lunch and pedicures last week, and because I hate how my feet look, I didn't go.
So I'm being a bit of a bad girl today and giving myself some true Disney Princess treatment.
My sister introduced me to this thing called Baby Foot. It's a chemical peel for your feet to help remove the dead skin cells. Sounds gross, I know, but she's done it before and loved how it turned out. With my tendency to run around barefoot (hey, don't judge, Rapunzel is totally in agreement with me on this), let's just say mine are in some rough shape.
Plus, sometimes a girl just wants pretty feet. And with summer approaching and my general hatred for wearing socks, it means my toes are going to see a lot of sunlight over the next few months.
Not looking like that I hope...
Not only is the Baby Foot supposed to make my feet look better, but the dead skin cells also attribute to the SMELL of feet.
Yeah...Prince Charming would not be anywhere NEAR those feet if they smelled like sweat and old corn chips. ESPECIALLY after a night in a glass slipper. Those things DO NOT BREATHE.
So here's hoping this works out well, and maybe if it does I'll go out and buy some pretty new sandals for the summer. :)
