Let's Get Down To Business!


Another pound down and feeling fabulous! I'm officially at 303 as of this morning: 4 pounds down since I started this blog.



Going to the gym has been a HUGE eye opener, and a huge help. As I mentioned in a previous post, I started out barely able to finish a 30 minute elliptical workout. There were times during it that I had to stop or slow down because my knees were starting to complain.

This was me the first day.
Now I can do a 15 minute mile and finish the workout without stopping, along with another 30 minutes in the pool.

Not ready to defeat the Huns yet, but we're getting there.
The next step is to start working out short term fitness goals. I'll probably post a full list as an additional page early next week. But for now, here's a few:

-Drop below 300 lbs
-Start weight training (Planning to in the beginning of May)
-Do 10 push ups without stopping
-Do 10 sit ups without stopping
-10 minute mile

I've heard it said that the first 10 lbs are the hardest to lose, but I'm well on my way to getting past that. I can't wait!
